The Good Rockin' Daddys

The Good Rockin’ Daddys have been in operation on the Gold Coast since 1996-97 and since that time have enjoyed entertaining audiences throughout South East Queensland, Northern New South Wales, New Zealand and Adelaide.

A highlight for the band has been making the finals of the Samsung Electronics Entertainer Of The Year Awards for 2004. However what was once a successful four-piece group in 2004 has now become a fantastic five-piece outfit in 2005.

Band Bio

The Daddys have always prided themselves on neatness of attire as well as tightly woven vocal harmonies, with influences such as The Beach Boys, The Four Seasons, The Bee Gees and The Deltones.

Each member of the band sings and this helps to provide variety in sound as well as enable the band to play many different genres of music. The band is also visually entertaining. When four or five piece harmonies are not the focus, the band incorporates a variety of steps and movements that enhance audience appeal.

Band members are highly experienced entertainers, some having worked in successful bands like ‘Wickety Wak', the latter band having worked overseas, while the other members have worked in successful bands in New Zealand and Victoria. Two of GRD's own members have even teamed up as a duo called 'Times 2' to fill in any spare time!

Paul, John, Roger, Tony and Wayne are certain to provide a total entertainment package ready to suit any function, whether it be corporate, club, rock n' roll or an alternate venue.
